3M™ Scotchcast™ Cable Repair Kit M30 contains a reusable wrap-around mould and accessories that are necessary for repairing cable jackets. Our abrasion and weather resistant, non-vulcanising kit requires no equipment or heat and is simple to install. Flame retardant 3M™ Scotchcast™ 2131 Resin packs should be purchased separately.

It’s suitable for permanent jointing and repairing of single or multi-core flexible power cables, diameter size 47-100 mm. Our kit is simple to install, requiring no workshop or equipment. It can be used to joint or repair frequently coiled power cables and is tough enough to use in extreme weather, direct burial or submerged locations. It’s a non-vulcanising, flexible, cold-pour resin system that reduces repair time compared to vulcanising. It requires no heat for installation, and is permanent electrically and mechanically. The flame-retardant resin bonds securely to the cable sheath, providing a permanent joint or repair with tight seal. Repaired and joined sections can be reeled without sagging. There’s no end lifting, and it bonds to all modern cable sheath materials such as neoprene, polychoroprene and nitrile/PVC, EPR and hypalon.
