3M™ Scotchshield™ Automotive Security Series is a range of films that combine sun control technology in a 100 micron safety film. The films help shield occupants and valuables by rejecting heat from the sun, increasing privacy and holding shattered glass together.
3M™ Scotchshield™ Automotive Security films are composed of a transparent and weather stable polyester film, a scratch resistant coating and a strong acrylic adhesive system. This hybrid not only blocks almost the entire amount of UVA and UVB rays which are the main cause of fading and skin damage, but also protects occupants from injuries or damage caused by fragments of broken glass in case of an accident. It also increases the amount of time and effort it takes a thief to enter the vehicle, providing a powerful deterrent to smash and grab theft. All products of this family have the German ABG clearance.
