ETW-804 is a dualwall Polyolefin heatshrink tubing with a coextruded hot melt adhesive. Shrink ratio is 4:1, min. shrink temperature is 120°C, operating temperature is -55°C to +125°C. ETW-804 is RoHS compliant, flame retardant - self extinguishing, provides good chemical resistance and IP 68 sealing. With the shrink ratio of 4:1 it is ideally suited for applications with wide variances in diameter. The excellent flow properties of the adhesive ensures good environmental sealing of complex parts. As this tubing shrinks, the adhesive flows and is forced into gaps and crevices. When the adhesive cools, it forms a seal against moisture and other fluids whilst the outer wall provides mechanical protection. ETW-804 is well suited for environmental sealing of a variety of electronic, electrical and mechanical applications such as connections, splices etc. ETW-804 is available in sizes from 4.0/1.0 mm to 32.0/8.0 mm mm with a total wall thickness (recovered) of 1.0-2.5 mm in Colour black.
