3M™ Overpaintable Stonechip Coating is an alkyd resin-based coating for lower auto body panels that provides stone chip protection with anticorrosive and soundproofing properties. TF versions are toluene-free.
This rubber based coating was developed to enable most manufacturers’ stone chip finishes to be reproduced in the bodyshop. Black, white and grey coatings are available for application to any part of the car requiring stone chip protection. Medium to heavy textures can be obtained depending on the application method used.
