The cured material in the 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Void Filling Compound EC-3460 has excellent fire, smoke and toxicity properties, based non-halogenated system with no intentionally added antimony. It offers excellent chemical resistance and has good processing attributes due to its handling, extrusion, filling, grinding, and painting abilities. Extruded single-part, low density, flame-retardant epoxy compound that is designed for structural aerospace applications in honeycomb sandwich structures that require an elevated temperature cure. It is designed for use on honeycomb sandwich structures as edge close-out, corner reinforcement, local reinforcement for mechanical fixation, or complex gap filling.
