3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material 5687 helps to enhance the visibility in low-light and nighttime conditions. It's designed for safety clothing, such as firefighting garments and flame-resistant workwear, requiring a high degree of daytime and night-time visibility. The material shines white when illuminated, even if the wearer is at the roadside. It meets the NFPA high-visibility standard, and exceeds by far the minimum reflections values required at the highest performance level, thus greatly improving the visibility of people. 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material 5687 consists of wide angle, high-precision glass lenses bonded to a heat activated adhesive. The transfer film bonds seamlessly with fabrics without the need for stitching to creating a smooth, snag-resistant design. It is characterized by a high degree of heat resistance, does not affect the flame-retardant properties of the garment, and it's renowned for its good long-term flame resistance as per NFPA. The product is washable in a home wash process at 60°C (50 cycles as per ISO 6330-6N). The segmentation is a revolutionary leap in performance and design, delivering compliant visibility with comfort, breathability and durability.
