The week, which is organised by the British Science Association and being sponsored this year by 3M, aims to inspire and facilitate a grassroots celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
Loughborough STEM ambassadors Adrian Connell and Liz Marriott have been to St Bartholomew's Primary School in nearby Quorn.
Adrian commented: "The pupils showed a lot of interest and came up with some great questions for us. It was a really good day."
