Three of 3M’s Authorised Vehicle Wrappers - Coastline, It’s a Wrap and Joyce Design - showed off their skills during the four days of the festival, transforming a BMW i8 and an Audi S1 by wrapping them in the latest colours and finishes available in the 3M Wrap Film Series 1380 and 1080.
Designs included a multi-depth fish scale pattern with sparkle overlaminate; a hand-drawn illustration created as a tribute to motorsport legend, the late Ayrton Senna; and a detailed matte and gloss pinstriped wrap.
The materials used in the demos included 3M Wrap Film Series 1380 and 1080 in new on-trend colours such as Ocean Shimmer, Gloss Flame Red, Flip Volcanic Flare and Satin Thundercloud available in gloss, satin and colour-flip finishes, the newly released IJ180mC Print Wrap Film from 3M as well as 3M knifeless tape.
In addition, a range of colours from the Wrap Film Series 1080 from 3M were available as part of the new ‘made on stand’ wrap kits sold exclusively at Goodwood. 3M Knifeless tape and 3M Matte cleaner were also sold at the show.
Visitors to the stand were invited to take part in a number of competitions to win a racing track experience and a Samsung Tablet and also got to see the British Touring Car Championship Vauxhall Astra Power Maxed racing car of Jack Sears Trophy Championship leader, Senna Proctor, up close.
