3M™ Glass Bubbles H50/10000 are hollow microspheres made of soda-lime borosilicate glass with a true density of 0.50 g/ cm³ and an isostatic crish strength of 10000 psi / 690 bar.
H50/10000 Glass Bubbles have an epoxy silane surface treatment. They are part of floated product series and have less than 1 % sinkers by volume. These Glass Bubbles are designed for buoyancy and insulation in ultra-deep water applications for subsea equipment in the oil industry. The surface treatment of these Glass Bubbles combined with their high strength and low density allows for use in high technical applications such as aerospace and hydrospace syntactic foam, radomes, and printed circuit boards.
