3M was asked to help when Loughborough University opened its doors to the local community on Saturday 12 March, to celebrate British Science Week.
The university's annual community day is aimed at people of all ages and this year included activities run by a number of academics from across its Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths departments.
STEM ambassadors Tabby Shaikh and David Greenleaf, with IP student Kate Miller, from 3M's Loughborough site joined the event to showcase the company's technologies.
Tabby said: "This was the second community day I'd been involved with at the university and it's a really good event for raising the profile of our brand and positioning 3M as the science company."
