Tough Bonds in High Temps. We constructed 3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 966 with 3M High Temperature Acrylic Adhesive 100 and a 62# densified kraft paper liner. This adhesive is designed for industrial applications subjected to high temperature environments for short periods of time. Adhesive Transfer Tape meets NASA low outgassing specifications (ASTM E 595) including low leachable chloride which can be important considerations for the electronic and aerospace industries. Historically, a TML of 1.00% and CVCM of 0.10% have been used as screening levels for rejection of spacecraft materials (NASA). Our Adhesive Transfer Tape 966 also comes with a hard dense liner, which reduces edge burr in hand tool processing of metal plates.
