Cycle with your family

If you have all got bikes, cycling can make a great family day out!

Imagine getting your bikes ready the night before and packing a bag each first thing in the morning. You have got your route planned, and an hour's ride later, you have arrived at a great picnic place. It could be a park, or the side of a canal. It might be somewhere interesting like a tourist attraction, or just a nice spot in the country.

After the picnic, you have got time to relax – someone might have brought a football or Frisbee. Eventually, it is time to head home. You might go back the way you came, or by another route that makes the journey home more interesting. What a great day out!
