Whenever you ride, you must always wear your cycle helmet and bright clothing.

our helmet needs to fit properly. Make sure you wear the right size, and know how to put it on safely. And that includes using the chinstrap! Check your helmet has an EC safety standard number EN1078* – this shows that the helmet is well made and will help protect your head.

But what else should you wear?
You don't need to be going fast for a fall to really hurt! Coming off your bike can cause a nasty graze or cut.
