Be Green

Cycling is a great way to stay fit, and be 'green'. Bikes do not cause pollution, and they don't emit any of the 'greenhouse gases' that cause global warming.

But as well as keeping you – and the planet – fit and healthy, they don't take up much space. In fact, you could park up to ten bikes in just one car parking space! If more people cycled to school or work, there would be fewer cars on the road. So there would be fewer traffic jams, and the air would be that bit cleaner as well.

When you choose to cycle, you are really doing your bit to save the planet,
as well as looking after your own health.
